About NoZone UV Protective Funwear
With increased public awareness of the dangers of too much sun exposure, responsible parents have been searching for apparel that will protect their children.
Although many brands have appeared in the marketplace, only a few are of truly outstanding quality. Nozone is one of those brands.
NoZone uses specialized Australian fabrics that have been awarded the highest rating possible of UPF 50+. This means the fabric blocks 98% or more of all ultra-violet rays!
AS NoZone says, "The fabrics are cool and comfortable and move easily with the body. All of our products are manufactured in North America, so we not only maintain quality control, but we can assure that no children are used in the manufacturing process.
Our hands-on approach ensures that we choose only the finest materials, use the best design and manufacturing techniques available, and double check every item before it goes out the door. We oversee every step of production, from which zipper we choose to the quality of the elasticized threads our sewing team uses in their state-of-the-art machines to the bullet-proof four-thread stitching techniques we incorporate to make our products all but indestructible.
We know little ones often don't look after their clothes as well as grown-ups, and we also know that heat, chlorine and salt water break down most swimming suit materials, sometimes in a remarkably short time. We searched the world and found what we were looking for in Australia - a revolutionary fabric that is both comfortable and stretchy so the fit is perfect, but totally free of the rubber compounds still used in most swimwear and sun protective products.
QUALITY: We strive to make the best sun-protective clothing on the market today. Our UV protective swim wear products stay together and last longer even in chlorinated pools. We use a revolutionary new polyester that provides the same sun protection properties as the more common spandex/ nylon blends, but is far more durable. Each suit is carefully constructed to our exacting standards. Our "kid tested" stitching utilizes a four thread process and a highly durable and elastic nylon thread."
One piece or two piece?
In our experience parents are evenly divided over the choice of one or two piece suits. Some parents prefer a one piece suit because of its close snug fit. One piece suits keep the sand out even if children cover themselves with it! One piece infant suits have a separate zipper at the crotch for easy diaper changes.
Some parents prefer a two piece suit because of the slightly looser fit, ease of going to the bathroom, and the option to wear the top over a regular bathing suit. Parents who are in the thick of toilet training tend to prefer the two piece suits.
Full body suits: If your child is very fair and burns easily we recommend the 1 piece wrist to ankle full coverage suits.
Sizing: These suits last. Many parents buy a size larger than they need so they can get two years of use from the suit. You will definitely be able to pass these suits on to younger siblings, friends or relatives.
