How to measure your torso length
Everyone's torso is different, and it doesn't always depend on height. Just because you are a tall woman, it doesn’t necessarily mean you will have a long torso (maybe you have long legs instead).
To determine your torso length, you’ll need to enlist the help of a friend and a soft measuring tape.
1. Stand straight with your legs shoulder length apart.
2. Locate the 7th vertebra at the base of your neck. Not an anatomy expert? The C7 vertebra is the prominent bone that sticks out the most on your neck- you may want to tilt your head forward to locate it more easily. This will be the starting point for your measurement.
3. Place your hands on the top of your hips so you can feel the pointy protrusions on the front of your hips (also known as the Iliac Crest). Draw an imaginary “latitude line” between these two points across your back. This will be the stopping point for your measurement.
4. Run the tape measure from the C7 vertebra on your neck down your spine, following the curve of your back. Finish the measurement at the point where the tape crosses the imaginary “latitude line” on your back.
Voila! Now you know your torso length!

Product Reviews
"I've used it couple of times and I'm really impressed. It's very lightweight and folds down almost flat which is exactly what we need since it will be coming on our travels strapped to our main packs. Our little one seems to enjoy being in the Sherpani (she has a 360 degree unobstructed view) and it looks quite comfortable because of the suspension-like saddle. The pack straps are well designed making it very easy to tighten around the waist. It fits nicely on my frame making it possible to do long hikes and the overall quality of the manufacturing is impressive which hopefully means it'll last.
The only improvement I would suggest is slightly larger zippers on the small stuff sack in the back which would make zipping smoother. Also larger stirrups would be nice since running shoes are bulky making it cumbersome to stuff them in."
